Dear Parents, Guardians, and Supporters of Catholic Schools,
Catholic Schools in the Diocese of Fort Worth are a vital ministry of our local Church. With a focus on faith formation, rigorous academics and service to others, they are committed to assisting parents in their most precious obligation of preparing their children to meet the challenges of the modern world.
We invite you to visit our schools and to join with us in building strong communities of learning and faith.

PURPOSE
The Catholic Schools Office exists to provide direction, advocacy, support and monitoring for the Catholic schools of the Diocese of Fort Worth.
"Young people of the third millennium must be a source of energy and leadership in our Church and our nation. Therefore, we must provide young people with an academically rigorous and doctrinally sound program of education and faith formation designed to strengthen their union with Christ and his Church. Catholic schools collaborate with parents and guardians in raising and forming their children as families struggle with the changing and challenging cultural and moral contexts in which they find themselves. Catholic schools provide young people with sound Church teaching through a broad-based curriculum, where faith and culture are intertwined in all areas of a school's life..." (Catholic Schools on the Threshold, no.9 - USCCB website)
At St. Martin de Porres Catholic School, students will hear the Gospel message daily, learn the teachings of our Church, build community, pray, worship, and participate in Christian service with the guidance of their pastor, principal, and teachers. Every student, parent, teacher, and administrator is a valued member of our Catholic school community and will seek to give the fullness of Christ’s love to one another.
