St. Martin de Porres Catholic School

Fundraising and volunteering are crucial to our SMdP community.  We rely heavily on help from our school families to ensure the success of our school. If you would like to volunteer or need more information please email Kayla Talley at ktalley@smdpcatholic.org

We ask that each family:

• select at least one fundraiser to volunteer at least 6 hours towards, and
• select at least one fundraiser where they actively participate or attend the event.

In addition, each family is asked to volunteer 4 hours towards the Parish Fall Festival (or make an equivalent monetary donation of $10 per volunteer hour). 

Families may participate in and volunteer for as many events as they want.  Many families participate and volunteer in multiple fundraisers!
 

Welcoming Committee
Help plan and facilitate events throughout the year promoting community - Popsicle's on the Playground, Family Picnic, Back to School Parent Breakfast, Mom’s Night Out, Teacher Appreciation Week, etc.

Family Ambassadors
Become paired up with a new SMdP family and help them navigate the school year.  Meet prior to school starting so families/students feel welcomed.
